How your daily budget is worked out
The same method Rozzy uses, in one line:
Spend less today and the money you didn't use is shared over the days ahead, so tomorrow gets a little more. Spend more and each day ahead gets a little less. Either way you finish the pay period within your pay.

Questions
How do I work out how much I can spend per day?
Take the money you have until your next payday, subtract fixed costs that haven't been paid yet (rent, loan payments, bills, savings), and divide what is left by the number of days until your next payday. The result is your daily budget.
I'm paid every two weeks. How do I calculate my daily budget?
Use one paycheck as your pay amount, subtract the fixed costs due before the next paycheck, and divide by 14, or by the days left until your next payday if you're starting mid-way.
What if I spend more than my daily budget?
Spread the extra over the days you have left. Each remaining day gets a little less, so you still finish the pay period within your pay. Spending less works the same way in reverse.
Should credit card spending come out of my daily budget?
Not on the day you swipe, because the money hasn't left your account yet. Count the card bill when you pay it, as a fixed cost or a bill. That way nothing is counted twice. Rozzy tracks card spends separately for this reason.
Does this calculator store my numbers?
No. Everything is worked out in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere unless you choose to share a link with your numbers in it.
